o L'un des derniers sites de la vallée de la Meuse avec des rochers calcaires de grande qualité, englobant également le parcours de ruisseaux encaissés aux forêts de versant remarquables : Fond d'Oxhe, Vallon d'Ombret...

4.2 Quality and importance

o Présence de hêtraies acidiphiles et de hêtraies-chênaies calcicoles ; o Site régulièrement visité par le Faucon pélerin (nicheur à Tihange) ;o Le vallon du Fond d'Oxhe abrite des nichées de Martin-pêcheur en bordure du cours d'eau, et des populations de Bondrée apivore, Pics... dans les massifs forestiers ;o Site de grand intérêt biologique pour la vallée mosane.
