Other Site Characteristics

o Site comprenant à la fois des milieux forestiers (forêts de versant, essentiellement) et des prairies humides (prairies de fauche à bistorte...), établies dans la vallée de la Lienne, entre Chevron et Pont de Targnon.

4.2 Quality and importance

o Présence de nombreux milieux humides de fond de vallée de grande qualité ; o Au Ry d'Oneux, présence d'une remarquable zone humide, comprenant en particulier une très belle lande humide à Erica tetralix et d'une boulaie tourbeuse ; o Présence d'une zone tourbeuse à Drosera rotundifolia et d'une juniperaie ; o Les berges vives de la Lienne hébergent régulièrement des nichées de Martin-pêcheur tandis que des forêts de versant au sud de Chession abritent occasionnellement une nichée de Milan royal et plus régulièrement celle du Pic noir.
