Other Site Characteristics

o Site formé par les vallées de plusieurs ruisseaux, affluents de la Rulles : Ruisseaux de Mellier, de Mandebras, de Marbay, de l'Eglise... et par de petits massifs forestiers attenant à la forêt de Rulles. L'ensemble est surtout remarquable par la qualité de ses prairies humides et prairies de fauche.

4.2 Quality and importance

o Présence notamment de reliques de pelouses à nard (Nardus stricta), de mégaphorbiaies bien conservées et de prés humides mésophiles (Molinion et bas-marais), ainsi que d'aulnaies alluviales et d'éléments de boulaie sur tourbe ;o Liaison hydrographique essentielle avec le site de la forêt d'Anlier, notamment pour la moule perlière (Margaritifera margaritifera) dont on trouve sur le site des coquilles vides.
