Other Site Characteristics

o Site majeur de la vallée de la Meuse comprenant de nombreux rochers calcaires, des pelouses, des forêts de versant et des bras morts avec une belle végétation aquatique.

4.2 Quality and importance

o Présence de remarquables buxaies sciaphiles, relativement rares, ainsi que de très belles érablières de ravin ; o Présence de noues (bras morts) de grande importance comme frayère pour plusieurs espèces de poissons dont la bouvière ; o Présence de falaises rocheuses calcaires remarquables avec une végétation caractéristque (Festucion pallentis) ; o Présence de plantes rares des rochers (une des deux stations belges de Saxifraga hypnoides), des berges et des milieux aquatiques ; o Importance du site sur le plan géomorphologique ;o Ravin du Colébi comportant: une érablière de ravin sur les versants exposés au nord, une chênaie à charme sur le plateau et une buxaie sciaphile colonisant le fond du vallon ; o Présence de prairies semi-naturelles, des roselières, des vases avec les espèces du Bidention, des magnocariçaies, des mégaphorbiaies et des fragments d'aulnaies.
