5.3 Site designation (optional)

The site is with medium influence and there could be good perspectives. There is only one busy road from the second-class road network going through it (Tervel – village of Alekovo – Alfatar). The rest of the roads are of third-class and with minimal traffic on them. Around 30% of the site is well preserved even though coppies deciduous forests.

6. SITE MANAGEMENT

6.2 Management Plan(s):

An actual management plan does exist:

Yes
No, but in preparation

No

6.3 Conservation measures (optional)

The low parts of Malak and Goliam Kanagiol, some of which are presently arable agricultural areas, to be forested even with plantations. Often the arable areas are being abandoned after which the natural processes lead to their turning into ore and rather aggressive elements enter the natural grass habitats.
