Other Site Characteristics

The site includes the stream of Vit River north from Pleven, with the system of marshes (old river beds), some alluvial forests and steppe loees communities on the hills above the river.

Fish fauna of Vit River includes 44 taxa. It is iportant as a biocorridor.
