The river is diked, there are single willows and artificially planted poplar-trees.

4.2 Quality and importance

The site is suitable for restoring as a valuable bio-corridor. The species enlisted as 'Other species-D' are included in Annex III of the Bulgarian Biodiversity Act as protected species.
