Begradigter Abschnitt des Spreemittellaufes mit angeschlossenen, markant ausgebildeten Mäandern und eingeschlossener sowie angrenzender, überwiegend grünlandgeprägter Auenvegetation.

4.2 Quality and importance

Repräsentative und kohärenzsichernde Vorkommen von Lebensraumtypen und Arten der Anhänge I und II der FFH RL, insbesondere des charakteristischen Artenspektrums von Tieflandsflüssen. Ausgeprägte Mäanderformen mit noch bestehendem Anschluss an den Hauptfluss.
