Other Site Characteristics

Emsauenabschnitt mit ausgebauten und naturnahen, stark mäandrierenden Flußabschnitten. Zahlreiche auentypische Elemente u.a. Altarme, Auen- und Bruchwaldreste, Flutmulden und Feuchtgrünlandflächen. Ergänzung zu 3.3.: Im Gebiet gibt es bedeutsame Vorkommen folgender Vogelarten: Eisvogel, Flussregenpfeifer, Gänsesäger, Heidelerche, Kiebitz, Krickente, Löffelente, Nachtigall, Neuntöter, Pirol, Rohrweihe, Teichrohrsänger, Uferschwalbe, Waldwasserläufer, Wiesenpieper, Zwergtaucher
