Von Erfurt n. NW ansteigend. Ackerhügelland mit naturnahem Feuchtgrünland in d. Nesseaue, großflächig mit Laubmischwald bestockte Muschelkalk-Höhenrücken u. Keuperinseln, Halbtrockenrasen, Flachland-Mähwiesen sowie Bruchwald u. Röhrichte an d. TS Dachwig

4.2 Quality and importance

Altholzreiche Laubwaldgebiete auf Kuppen und Höhenrücken bilden im Zusammenhang mit locker bebuschten Halbtrockenrasen, dem Grünland der Nesseaue und Feuchtbiotopen am Speicher Dachwig ein bedeutendes Refugium für Brut- und Rastvögel.
