Other Site Characteristics

Das Gebiet arrondiert auf nordrhein-westf. Seite das gleichnamige Ahrgebirge in Rheinland-Pfalz. Es umfasst hier den Lommersdorfer und den Ahrdorfer Wald. Eingebettet ist das Aulbachtal. Es dominieren naturnahe, gut strukturierte Laubwälder. Im Gebiet kommen folgende FFH-Lebensraumtypen vor: 9170, 9110, 3260
