Talweitung der Mosel mit Kiesabbaugewässern in unterschiedlichen Sukzessionsstadien und Harrstrang-Wiesen, teilweise wechselnass.

4.2 Quality and importance

In Land und Naturraum sehr seltene Lebensraumtypen der Gewässer, hohe Bedeutung für den Vogelzug und für Wasservögel Durch den Ausbau zur Schifffahrtsstraße entstandene Altarme der Mosel. Mächtige Kiesablagerungen, wirtschaftlich genutzt.
