Fläche zwischen rezentem Saarlaauf und Saaraltarm am südöstlichen Stadtrand von Saarbrücken. Umfangreiche Vornutzungen als Flugplatz, geplantes Gewerbe- und Industriegebiet. Heute großflächig in Sukzession, kalkreiche Aufschüttungen mit Kalkflora.
