Other Site Characteristics

Moorgebiet (Zollhausried) sowie Wiesen, Magerrasen (6210*: 10%) und zwei große Buchenwaldgebiete im Umfeld des Aitrachtals und seiner Seitentäler. Buchenwaldgebiet mit Reliktstandorten am Randen.

4.2 Quality and importance

Bedeutendes Nieder- und Übergangsmoor (Carex dioica, Primula farinosa, Betula humilis). Hochwertige Magerrasen (Ophrys araneola, Thalictrum galioides). Reliktstandorte mit Zygaena fausta. Torfabbau bis in die 1980er Jahre. Tal der Feldbergdonau. Moor im Bereich der europäischen Hauptwasserscheide.
