Drumlinlandschaft mit vollständiger Austattung an repräsentativen, natürlichen und naturnahen Biotoptypen (verschiedene Moor-, Magerrasen- und Wald-Typen)

4.2 Quality and importance

Das Gebiet umfaßt die Kernzonen des größten bayerischen Drumlinfeldes mit sämtlichen in diesem Drumlinfeld vorkommenden naturnahen und natürlichen Lebensraumtypen: verschiedenste Moor- und Magerrasentypen, Buchen- und Moorwälder Der Landschaftscharakter einer Hardtlandschaft ist in Teilen des Gebietes wie sonst nur an wenigen Stellen im gesamten Alpenvorland erhalten Das Gebiet repräsentiert den zentralen Ausschnitt des Eberfinger Drumlinfeldes mit sämtlichen morphoplogischen Ausformungen, in denen Drumlins auftreten können
