Zusammenhängendes Fließgewässersystem mit Gräben, naturnahen und ausgebauten Bächen, naturnahen und ausgebauten Flußabschnitten, zwei Waldgebiete mit Buchenwald, Hangmischwald und ehemaligem Hartholzauenwald, sowie Stillgewässer und Niedermoorkomplexe.

4.2 Quality and importance

Naturnahe Waldflächen und Flließgewässerabschnitte, Weiher, magere Flachland-Mähwiesen und Pfeifengraswiesen, große Strömer-Population. Ehemalige Burganlage im Bereich der Tobel. Starke Erosion im Randbereich des Schussenbeckens (Tobelbildung).
