Other Site Characteristics

Espacio comprendido entre las regiones biogeográficas Alpina y Mediterránea (72 y 28% respectivamente). Estrecho desfiladero (congosto) formado por el río Esera al atravesar materiales carbonatados de las Ssierras Interiores Pirenaicas. Atravesado por la carretera N-260 por el fondo del congosto.

4.2 Quality and importance

Constituye el hábitat de la población de mayor número de los cuatro conocidos para esta especie, cerca del 90 % del total de individuos estimados para la especie. La especie ocupa las grietas, fisuras y extraplanos de las cuevas en los cantiles calizos. Gran variedad de comunidades vegetales.
