Valkeisenjärvi on aivan tien tuntumassa sijaitseva avoin, vetinen neva, joka on muodostunut matalan järven kuivattamisen seurauksena. Avovesipintaa on enää allikoina. Alue on pääosin avoluhtaa-pallesuota. Valkeisjärven rannat ovat käsiteltyä metsää, jotka kuitenkin ovat melko monipuolisia lukuunottamatta länsirannan avohakkuualuetta. Pohjoispäässä on puustoltaan nuorta ojitettua koivuluhtaa, jossa ojat ovat kuitenkin ummessa. Valkeisenjärven eteläosassa erikoinen loivasti viettävä rinnesuo. Särkilampi on vuonna 1878 lasketun järven umpeenkasvun tuloksena muodostunut suo. Rantavyöhykkeellä tavataan rämettä ja koivuluhtaa, mutta avosuo-osuus on puutonta tulvavaikutteista nevaa. Utusuo sijaitsee lähellä Valkeisenjärveä. Se on reunaosiltaan ojitettu suoalue, jonka keskusta on silti säilynyt melko märkänä. Kasvillisuudeltaan se on lähinnä oligotrofista lyhytkorsinevaa, mutta osittain tavataan myös suursaraneva-alueita. Utusuo on rauhoitettu. Se on maisemallisesti komea ja samalla hyvä marjasuo.

4.2 Quality and importance

Valkeisenjärvi, Särkilampi ja Utusuo muodostavat yhdessä hyvän lintuvesi- ja suokokonaisuuden. Kohdassa 3.3. (muut tärkeät lajit) mainituista Keski-Suomessa uhanalaisista lajeista konnanulpukka kasvaa Valkeisenjärvellä ja Särkijärvellä Särkipuron tyvellä ja hoikkavilla Valkeisenjärvellä. Särkilampi ja Valkeisenjärvi ovat lähes täydellisesti umpeutuneet, mikä on heikentänyt niiden linnustoarvoa.
