Other Site Characteristics

Les site de Chambord présente une mosaïque d'habitats de grande valeur patrimoniale, en particulier les habitats de landes et les zones humides. Vulnérabilité faible. Gestion par l'Office National des Forêts.

4.2 Quality and importance

En terme d’habitats, les principaux enjeux du site résident dans la présence de : - plusieurs dizaines d’hectares de landes fraîches à Bruyère à balai, dont notamment un ensemble de 29 ha d’un seul tenant, unique en Sologne et abritant des espèces animales (Fauvette pitchou) ou végétales remarquables ; - une tourbière en excellent état de conservation et accompagnée d’autres habitats associés, de lande humide à Bruyère à quatre angles et de dépressions sur substrat tourbeux. Le domaine abrite également nombre d’espèces végétales remarquables car protégées nationalement ou en région Centre : - liées aux zones humides, telles que Damasonium alisma, Littorella uniflora, Pilularia globulifera, Pulicaria vulgaris, Gratiola officinalis ; - liées aux zones tourbeuses, comme Pinguicula lusitanica, Sparganium natans, Drosera rotundifolia ; - liées aux végétations prairales hygrophiles, avec Gladiolus illyricus, Gentiana pneumonanthe.
