Other Site Characteristics

Sites archéologiques. Système imbriqué de plateau karstique, de pentes sèches et de vallons secs à hygrophiles. Les pourcentages de couverture des habitats sont proposés à titre provisoire et restent approximatifs. L'abandon des pratiques agropastorales concoure à faire disparaître les espaces ouverts au profit de systèmes forestiers ou de friches.

4.2 Quality and importance

Système de vallées et vallons très représentatif des espaces subméditerranéens de Dordogne. Une importante station de Liparis loeselii (espèce inscrite à l'annexe II) n'est plus observée depuis 20 ans. Cette station est en cours de restauration afin de favoriser un nouveau développement éventuel de cette espèce.
