Other Site Characteristics

Le site Natura 2000 « Vallée et Palus du Moron » est situé en région Aquitaine, dans la partie Nord du département de la Gironde. Il et situé à une trentaine de kilomètres de l’agglomération bordelaise et à 20 km de la sous-préfecture de Blaye. Il correspond au cours principal du Moron et de ses affluents. Les milieux les plus humides adjacents au cours d’eau ont également été intégrés au site. Ils sont essentiellement constitués des zones de palus, de prairies, et de boisements alluviaux. Changement de spéculations agricoles Présence d'espèces envahissantes : - LE RAGONDIIN ((MYOCASTOR COYPUS) - LA GRENOUIILLE TAUREAU ((LIITHOBATES CATESBEIIANUS)) - L’’ECREVIISSE DE LOUIISIIANE ((PROCAMBARUS CLARKIIII) - LA TORTUE DE FLORIIDE ((TRACHEMYS SCRIIPTA--ELEGANS)) - LA JUSSIIE : la Jussie à grande fleur (Ludwigia grandiflora) et la Jussie à petite fleurs (Ludwigia peploides) - RENOUEES ASIIATIIQUES : la Renouée du Japon (Reynoutria japonica), la Renouée Sakhaline (Reynoutria sachalinensis) et la Renouée de bohême ou Renouée hybride (Reynoutria X bohemica) issue d’un croisement entre les deux premières.
