Other Site Characteristics

The site is composed by the inhabited island Agathonisi and the small islets around. The whole complex belongs to the Prefecture of Dodekannesos and is situated at its northern part.

4.2 Quality and importance

This site is important for breeding seabirds and species associated with coastal cliffs. Species of concern include: Phalacrocorax aristotelis, Falco eleonorae and Larus audouinii.
