Other Site Characteristics

The site is composed by the north-west part of inhabited island Arki and the small islets around it. The whole complex belongs to the Prefecture of Dodekannesos and is situated at its northern part.

4.2 Quality and importance

This site is important for breeding seabirds and raptors. Species of concern include: Puffinus yelkouan, Phalacrocorax aristotelis and Larus audouinii.
