Other Site Characteristics

This site is a small, narrow loess steppe. It is the habitat of rare plant species like the Adonis x hybrida that occurs only here and two other locations in our national park and in Hungary.

4.2 Quality and importance

Kiemelt fontosságú cél a következő fajok/élőhelyek kedvező természetvédelmi helyzetének fenntartása és helyreállítása: Élőhely: Síksági pannon löszgyepek 6250 The loess steppes have great importance in the Hungarian Great Plain as most of them has been cultivated and thus only these small remains are habitat of many valuable protected plant and animal species'. This steppe is the habitat of many protected plant species' like the Adonis x hybrida that can be found only here in the whole country.

Általános célkitűzések: A Natura 2000 terület természetvédelmi célkitűzése az azon található, a kijelölés alapjául szolgáló fajok és élőhelytípusok kedvező természetvédelmi helyzetének megőrzése, fenntartása, helyreállítása, valamint a Natura 2000 területek lehatárolásának alapjául szolgáló természeti állapot és a kedvező természetvédelmi állapottal összhangban lévő gazdálkodás feltételeinek biztosítása. Specifikus célok: A síksági pannon löszgyepek élőhelytípus állományainak fenntartása aktív természetvédelmi kezeléssel (legeltetés, kaszálás). A nád állományának visszaszorítása, terjedésének megakadályozása aktív természetvédelmi kezeléssel. A gyep szükség szerinti gyakoriságú kora tavaszi, hóolvadás utáni perzselése a területen előforduló értékes löszgyep társulásra jellemző növényfajok, különösen a fokozottan védett erdélyi hérics (Adonis x hybrida) állományainak fenntartása, illetve növelése érdekében. A síksági pannon löszgyepek élőhelytípusnál a kedvező természetvédelmi helyzet helyreállítása a korábban szántóként művelt pufferterületeken: e területeken a spontán visszagyepesedési folyamatok elősegítése a területek kaszálásával, valamint löszgyep társulásra jellemző közönséges növényfajok magjainak elszórásával. A gépjárművek okozta taposási károk mérséklése a vasúti sínnel párhuzamos löszgyep szakaszon.
