Other Site Characteristics

E' il miglior esempio di zonazione altitudinale e di struttura di boschi di conifere montani e subalpini con pino cembroin via di ridiffusione. Alcune specie rare e endemiche. Interessante bosco misto di abete e picea, raro in Piemonte. Sono oltre 150 le sorgenti d'acqua dolce mappate, tra cui la metà caratterizzano l'habitat prioritario 7220

Estesa area forestale sul versante S della val di Susa, con presenza dei principali tipi di vegetazione, differenziata per fasce altitudinali, delle Alpi Occidentali.
