Other Site Characteristics

Popolamenti dei ghiaioni calcarei con Berardia subacaulis (paleoendemismo arctoterziario) ed endemismi alpini occidentali. Popolamenti dell' all. Caricion bicoloris atrofuscae con la rarissima Swerthia perennis. Presenza di pino cembro e di pino uncinato su substrati calcarei, popolamenti di Erebia gorge e Erebia pluto.

4.2 Quality and importance

Ambiente alpino caratterizzato da dolci morfologie ricoperte da praterie alpine con gruppi di larici; il lago ha vegetazione di cinta (canneto) e presenta fenomeni di interramento.
