Area costituita principalmente da ambienti agrari caratterizzati in prevalenza da colture di cereali vernini (grano, orzo).

4.2 Quality and importance

Larea, seppure caratterizzata da ambienti agrari antropizzati, è di particolare importanza per la conservazione degli agrositemi tradizionali e delle zoocenosi ad essi legate. Il sito è rilevante per 8 specie di uccelli dell'Allegato I della Direttiva 79/409/CEE, presenti in particolare durante i movimenti migratori; nei mesi primaverili, in particolare, nel sito si formano habitat temporanei dovuti ad alcune pozze dacqua che permettono la sosta numerose specie di caradriformi di passo.
