Specie termofile, rare o localizzate. Una delle zone ancora selvagge dell'Appennino ligure-piemontese; limite settentrionale di Polyommatus hispanus e di Rana italica.

4.2 Quality and importance

Estesi affioramenti di conglomerati spesso a fortissima pendenza con litosuoli o suoli assai superficiali. Ampio letto torrentizio ghiaioso. Interessante flora messicola nelle aree coltivate (specie infestanti in via di scomparsa).
