Si segnala inoltre la presenza dell'Habitat Codice Corine 54.11 (%cop. 0,02; Rapp. B; Sup.rel C; Grado cons. A; Val.glob. B).

4.2 Quality and importance

La qualità del sito è molto buona, in quanto il pascolamento è stato condotto secondo regole precise, dettate dalla brevità del periodo vegetativo e dalla ridotta produzione foraggiera. L'esistenza di approfonditi studi vegetazionali e geomorfologici, che risalgono a circa 40 anni addietro, permette ora di valutare i cambiamenti verificatisi nel tempo. Il sito è da considerarsi di rilevante importanza per gli obiettivi di conservazione previsti dalle direttive per la presenza di tre habitat prioritari (cod. 4070, 7240, 6230). La presenza di specie faunistiche rare quali Aquila chrysaetos e Gypaetus barbatus aumenta oltremodo il valore naturalistico del sito.
