Other Site Characteristics

Sono presenti habitat di particolare interesse non compresi nell'all.I della direttiva 92/43/CEE, in particolare: Ansa occidentale del Lago di Levico (Valsugana), completamente occupata da ontanete a ontano nero; il bordo delle rive é orlato da una fascia di magnocariceti, mentre nelle acque del lago è presente la ninfea gialla. Sono presenti habitat di particolare interesse non compresi nell'all.I della direttiva 92/43/CEE, in particolare: Magnocaricion (5%), Phragmition (10%):

4.2 Quality and importance

Ansa di lago eutrofico, con nuclei di vegetazione idrofitica natante e sommersa di notevole interesse, cintura di elofite e ontaneta ripariale. Si tratta di un biotopo di vitale importanza per la riproduzione di molte specie di anfibi e rettili. Presenza di invertebrati dell'allegato II che indicano buona naturalità delle acque correnti.
