Other Site Characteristics

Il sito interessa il versante nord del Gruppo dei Lessini, sulla sinistra idrogr. della Val dei Ronchi. Il versante (costituito da rocce calcaree), per lo più boscato, è solcato da ripidi valloni ed è intervallato da pareti rocciose. Sono presenti habitat di particolare interesse non compresi nell'all.I della direttiva 92/43/CEE: splendidi Abieteti 15%, in parte con Phyllitis.

4.2 Quality and importance

Sito assai selvaggio e poco antropizzato. Boschi freschi di discreta qualità (abetine, boschi di latifoglie pregiate con tasso), con alcune presenze floristiche di rilievo. Presenza di invertebrati prioritari propri di boschi di faggio molto integri.
