Other Site Characteristics

Area infracollinare, molto ampia, con paesaggio agrario relitto, caratterizzato da ambienti agricoli intervallato da tratti boschivo-forestali con praterie a ristagno d'acqua.

4.2 Quality and importance

Praterie umide a Molinio-Holoschoenion, con estesi tratti a molinieto. Relitti di lembi boschivi a Fraxinus angustifolia e Alnus glutinosa. Boschi residui appartenenti al Querco-Carpinetum boreoitalicum. Ultima area rimasta conservata in un contesto territoriale frammezzato e antropizzato.
