Alveo fluviale a carattere torrentizio a dinamica naturale di grande pregio paesaggistico. Scarsamente accessibile.

4.2 Quality and importance

Mosaici di vegetazione comprendenti anche garighe mediterranee ad elevata diversità ed in ottimo stato di conservazione. Sito di notevole importanza per la presenza di numerose specie ornitiche rare e minacciate legate agli alvei fluviali e agli ambienti steppici, come Burhinus oedicnemus e Coracias garrulus. Da segnalare anche le numerose specie di rapaci.
