Other Site Characteristics

Piccola risorgiva dove, oltre agli habitat con codice ed attribuiti alla classe Charetea fragilis (3140) ed alle alleanze Lemnion minoris e Potamogetonion pectinati (3150), sono presenti lembi di Phragmitetum australis e di Caricetum gracilis. Inoltre, il laghetto è circondato, in parte, da querce isolate, ed è drenato da un emissario con le sponde coperte da vegetazione igro-nitrofila.

4.2 Quality and importance

L'aspetto più saliente, dal punto di vista geobotanico, è dato dalla presenza di alghe e specie idrofitiche vascolari. Tra le specie faunistiche è stato segnalato anche Leuciscus cephalus (specie autoctona) e Neomys fodiens (specie stenotopa molto rara).
