Other Site Characteristics

Costa a falesia, marnoso-arenacea ricoperta per ampi tratti dalla vegetazione dominata dalla piccola canna Arundo pliniana (Arundinetum plinianae). Nelle aree di distacco recente della frana si sviluppa la vegetazione pioniera dell'associazione Dauco-Tussilaginetum. Nei settori più stabili si rinvengono arbusteti a Spartium junceum . Importante è la flora algale, bentonica, soprattutto in corrispondenza dello scoglio del "Trave". Habitat da aggiungere rispetto all'allegato I della direttiva 92/43 - CEE: - Arbusteti submediterranei (Cytision sessilifolii); - Formazioni ad Arundo pliniana (Arundinetum plinianae).

Sono comunque consentite le normali pratiche colturali nonché, negli incolti produttivi, il pascolo e la fienagione.
