Other Site Characteristics

Zona calcarea al confine tra Marche ed Umbria. La vegetazione, ben conservata è data da boschi di faggio e pascoli nel settore sommitale. Da orno-ostrieti nelle quote inferiori. Habitat da aggiungere rispetto all'allegato I della direttiva 92/43 - CEE: - Arbusteti submediterranei (Cytision sessilifolii); - Boschi submontani centro e nord appenninici di Carpino nero (Laburno-Ostryon).
