Calcare massiccio, maiolica, rosso ammonitico (serie umbro-marchigiana). Morfologia carsica con doline, campi carreggiati e lapiez.

4.2 Quality and importance

Comprensorio significativo del preappennino calcareo laziale con complessa articolazione territoriale e presenze della grande fauna appenninica. Lecceta di alta quota e faggeta con agrifoglio al limite settentrionale del suo areale. Presenza di endemismi. Proposta come ZPS.
