Other Site Characteristics

Tratto di costa con scogliere a falesie, modesti promontori di origine arenaceo-marnosa (serie Flysch del Cilento), fenomeni di erosione marina. Terrazzi di abrasione marina tirreniani.

4.2 Quality and importance

Tipico ambiente di macchia mediterranea con lembi di foresta di sempreverdi; notevole la presenza di una pineta spontanea di Pinus halepensis. Zona interessante per il passo ornitico. Nidificazione di Sylvia undata. Praterie di Posidonia oceanica.
