Other Site Characteristics

The area is situated on a rich moraine slope by a lake and har earlier been used as deciduous woods with meadow glades. Since then the meadows haas been overgrown to deciduous woods with rich herbaceous undergrowth. Today parts of the woods is graces together with an open pasture.

4.2 Quality and importance

The highest values of the area are tied to the deciduous trees and the occurence of cryptogams and insects on the trees, on the ground and on dead wood.
