Other Site Characteristics

The flat bedrock in the area consists of Holen Limestone. The coastline is of a typical abrasion type. Several small dikes are also placed along the coast. The site is generally a mosaic of fields, meadows, pastures, alvars and mixed deciduous forests.

4.2 Quality and importance

The mosaic of the site with dry to wet as well as regular inland water habitats gives altogether high values in terms of biological diversity.

4.3 Threats, pressures and activities with impacts on the site

The most important impacts and activities with high effect on the site
