Other Site Characteristics

An almost free developing mixed deciduous forest on calcarius, lime-rich moraines on a smooth south-faced slope. Small brooks cross the forest and some small ravines are formed.

4.2 Quality and importance

En tidigare betesmark som har utvecklats till en ädellövsskog med en rik vårflora. Fågel- och insektslivet är rikt och det förekommer även ett flertal olika sällsynta lavarter. Den fuktiga miljön är också en bra biotop för många mollusker. Området utgör ett välbesökt utflyktsmål. De biologiska och vetenskapliga värdena är utomordentligt höga.
