Other Site Characteristics

Versanti calcarei alpini; lariceti; foreste subalpine e alpine di abete rosso; faggete; prati alpini di Carex, prati alpini di crinale e di versante, prati pionieri su cime rocciose; fiumi alpini e vegetazione riparia. Include anche il gruppo siliceo di Cima Pape con relativa varietà di ambienti.

Ambiente dolomitico alpino di eccezionale valore geomorfologico, paesaggistico, alpinistico, ecologico. Presenza di specie rare e minacciate.
