Rilievi prealpini che nel settore centro-orientale si evidenziano per la complessità ambientale e per una morfologia aspra che, nel versante solatio, dà origine a interessanti biocenosi arido-rupestri montane.

4.2 Quality and importance

Grande ricchezza floristica e presenza di entità rare e/o significative; formazioni di grande interesse e originalità su prati arido-rupestri pedemontani (Satureion subspicatae) e montani (Caricion austroalpinae,Potentillion caulescentis).
