Relitto di boschi di querce insediatesi nell'ultimo post-glaciale; bosco planiziale misto.

4.2 Quality and importance

Frammento relittuale di bosco planiziale a prevalenza di Quercus robur, Carpinus betulus e Fraxinus oxycarpa (Carpino-Quercetum roboris - Carpinion illyricum). Ecosistema isolato, molto diverso dalle aree circostanti fortemente antropizzate. Presenza di specie vegetali divenute ormai rarissime nel resto della pianura padana.
