Other Site Characteristics

E' la parte meridionale residua, la più piccola e degradata delle tre rimaste, dell'antica pineta ravennate a Pinus pinea. Stretta dal centro turistico di Cervia-Milano Marittima e in parte trasformata in parco cittadino.

4.2 Quality and importance

Specie vegetali RARISSIME e MINACCIATE: Trachomitum venetum.RARE e MINACCIATE: Erianthus ravennae.Specie animali: Chalcides chalcides, entità olomediterranea, in regione legata ad ambienti costieri e del Contrafforte Pliocenico che presentano caratteristiche bioclimatiche e vegtazionali di tipo mediterraneo. Scarse conoscenze sulle distribuzione ed ecologia di popolazione. Distribuzione frammentaria.Presenza di nursery del raro Chirottero forestale Nyctalus noctula.
