Other Site Characteristics

Faggeta mista con Abies alba e Taxus baccata. Gole del Torrente Turcano con formazione di travertino. Presenza di cascate perenni tra le più alte dell'Appennino. Boschi a Ostrya carpinifolia e Quercus cerris con individui spontanei di Abies alba e Quercus ilex su pareti calcaree.

Ricchezza di tipologie di habitat ben conservati e di alta rappresentatività. Specie endemiche e rare. Presenza di indicatori ecologici che testimoniano l'alta qualità ambientale.
