Gering beinflusste alpine Region.Innerhalb Silikatflora artenreiche Kalkflora mit Glazialrelikten (z.B. Tofuldia pusilla und Linnaea borealis) und besonderen geologischen Erscheinungen.Verhältnismäßig unerschlossenes Gebiet.Reich an oligotrophen Hochgebirgsseen (ca. 25) mit Verlandungszonen.
