Bei der "Prähauserbauerwiese" handelt es sich um eine große Streuwiese im Gemeindegebiet von Grödig am ostexponierten Unterhang des Krüzersberges westlich der Glan. Die befindet sich im Landschafts- und Pflanzenschutzgebiet Untersberg. Seit2002 betreut die Biotopschutzgruppe HALM in Abstimmung mit dem Grundeigentümer diese Streuwiese.Die große Streuwiese weist bezüglich der Geländemorphologie und der Feuchtigkeitsverhältnisse sehr diverse Standortbedingungen auf. Neben bis zu 30° geneigten, eher trockenen bis wechselfeuchten Hangbereichen kommen auch feuchte Verebnungen bis nasse Senken und Mulden vor.

4.2 Quality and importance

Nur an vier Standorten werden im Bundesland Salzburg Zahlen von mehr als 100blühenden Exemplaren der Sumpfgladiole erreicht. Das hier ausgewiesene Natura 2000 Gebiet zählt neben dem bereits ausgeiesenen Gebiet "Streuwiese am Salzweg (AT3241000) dazu. Diesen Gebieten kommt für die Gesamtsituation der im Bundesland Salzburg nach wie vor vom Aussterben bedrohten Pflanzenart wesentliche Bedeutung zu. Besonders bemerkenswert ist, dassdie Sumpf-Gladiole in der "Prähauserbauerwiese" in nahezu allen vorhandenen ökologischen Nischen auftritt. Der Bestand von Gladiolus palustris unterliegt auf dieser Fläche zwar immer wieder deutlichen Schwankungen, hielt sich zuletzt aber auf einem recht erfreulichen Niveau. Aufgrund der regelmäßigen Streumahd ist von einer positive Weiterentwicklung auszugehen.Die große Streuwiese weist bezüglich der Geländemorphologie und der Feuchtigkeitsverhältnisse sehr diverse Standortbedingungen auf. Neben bis zu 30° geneigten, eher trockenen bis wechselfeuchten Hangbereichen kommen auch feuchte Verebnungen bis nasse Senken und Mulden vor.
