Site s'étirant de la frontière française (Roisin, Autreppe et Montignies-sur-Roc) jusqu'au sud de Quiévrain et englobant les vallées de la Petite et de la Grande Honnelle ainsi que des massifs forestiers comme le Bois de Rampemont, le Bois d'Angre et le site du Caillou-qui-Bique (dôme de poudingue) ; Site majeur du Parc naturel des Hauts-Pays.

4.2 Quality and importance

Seule hêtraie du Cephalanthero-Fagion de la zone atlantique ; Lit majeur des rivières occupé par des aulnaies-frênaies de grande qualité ; Site du Caillou-qui-Bique génèrant un ensemble de pelouses sèches rupicoles, et de forêts de ravins, tous milieux de grande qualité ; Grande diversité en orchidées et seule station belge de Luzula forsteri ;Présence d'une population significative de Cottus gobio et Unicrassus (Grande-Honnelle); Caillou-qui-Bique et environs : présence de près de 200 espèces de Bryophytes ; Grande et la Petite Honnelle, seuls cours d'eau à courant rapide du Hainaut occidental, hébergent une faune d'invertébrés benthiques et d'odonates exceptionnelles.
