Other Site Characteristics

o Site correspondant au parcours de la Haute vallée de l'Aisne entre Odeigne et Amonines et englobant aussi un important massif forestier à l'est d'Amonines (Bois du Pays, de Wihogne et de Dochamps).

4.2 Quality and importance

o Paysages caractéristiques des plateaux ardennais en bordure du plateau des Tailles, avec des hêtraies à luzule blanche, des aulnaies riveraines, des nardaies et des prairies humides bien représentées ; o Présence de milieux faiblement tourbeux et de fragments d'aulnaies marécageuses et oligotrophes à sphaignes.
